A trip to Bosnia. The landscape is beautiful as we go through the hilly area.

Small settlements spread over the meadows. But looking closer you find that many are destroyed. The war has left his traces in the landscape and the souls of the people.

We go to Višegrad. The Turks build the bridge here in 1571. Ivo Andrić has written his famous book "The bridge over the Drina" about it, later he got the Nobel price in literature. It tells about the people from different kind cultures living together. But the bridge is also symbol of the atrocities that men did to their neighbors. In 1991, 21000 people lived here, 14000 Muslims and the rest Serbs. In 1995, there were no more Muslims. Many fled, 2500 - 3000 were killed. Many have been thrown from the Bridge in 1992, the floating bodies announced to the inhabitants of the further villages that the war had come to their region.

Cemetery of Višegrad.
Many graves have no names, only numbers..

Billboard with the names of war criminals that should go to the International Court in La Hague. Some names are already covered. The phrase "Oni do Haga ili mi do Vraga" means "Them to Hague or us to the devil"
