The Serbian countryside. While the Vojvodina is flat, the center of Serbia south of the Danube is hilly.

Small roads lead to the villages, and sometimes you can see an old lady with her cow along the road to let her find some grass.
|
|
|
You can still see horse carriages, and memorials for the death of the road. In the orthodox tradition, the death still take part in life. So you find coffee, Rakija, cigarettes, bananas and some chocolate on this plate remembering two girls, 18 and 20, who died here in a traffic accident.
