In January there have been parliamentary elections in Serbia.

 

Incumbent prime minister Koštunica of DSS (Democratic Party of Serbia)

Result: 16 % of the votes

"The people know best: Koštunica! (Long) life Serbia".

The pictures show demonstrations and the Serbian Flag. The girl in camouflage shirt has Serbian flag make up. The picture of Koštunica is slightly blurred - as is his policy.

 

Serbian Radical Party SPS

Result: 29 %  of the votes

"50 % plus your voice"

The party tries to achieve absolute majority and became the largest party, but no one else wants to enter a coalition with them.

"Time for change". SPS stands for anti-western politics.
"Stop Haag tyranny"

SRS-Leader Šešelj is accused in the international tribunal in The Haag for war crimes.

"Greater Serbia. For a better Today".

 
G17 Plus, the so-called "Expert party" of incumbent finance minister Dinkić

Result:: 7 % of the votes

The party was based on the liberal "think tank" G17 and in the coalition government with DSS. Dinkić argues with his success to have achieved a zero budget deficit.
"Serbia should advance fast" - "Experience in politics"

 
Serbian Renewal movement - SPO

nicht mehr im Parlament vertreten

The party of Vuk Drašković, longtime the most important opponent of Milošević and incumbent foreign minister. He stand for a western policy..
"Values remain" In the background pictures from huge demonstrations.

 

Democratic Party DS

Result:: 23 % of the votes

The party of the democratic President Tadić.
"People, we have only one life" and the signature of deceased Zoran Đinđić
"Because life cannot wait" and the website: "For a better life"

The democratic premier Đinđić, hope of many, was murdered in 2003.
